Hair Loss Treatment

Mesotherapy replaces the vitamins and minerals which the body loses as we age. The medications in Mesotherapy treatments cause an increase in blood circulation to the scalp area and stimulate the hair follicles. MesoHair, through micro-injections, delivers specially formulated FDA approved concoction under the scalp straight to the hair follicles. This mixture delivers long-acting neutralizing effects on the DHT hormone produced in the body, allowing for hairs to grow. An excess of the DHT (dehydrotestosterone) hormone causes hair loss. Although the cause of hair loss is not yet fully understood, there are many underlying factors that are shown to be associated with the loss of function of our hair follicles as we age. Injections can be uncomfortable and the duration of treatment depends on the area treated and the skill of the injector. We have seen various anywhere between 2 and 10 separate treatment procedures required in order to achieve a result, spaced at 3–10 weekly intervals. It appears that most patients experience a slight burning or tingling sensation straight after injections into the affected area which last for about 15–30 minutes. Redness or slight swelling may occur at the site for about 72 hours with some associated temporary bruising. Results can be visible within 2 weeks of treatment and it appears that more than 80% of patients are very satisfied with the progress of the results after 2–3 treatments. Once the fat has been “dissolved” the effect is permanent, however it is up to the patient to ensure that new fat deposits are not allowed to build up through poor diet and insufficient exercise”. Injections can be applied to the face for facial contouring, eye bags, chin area and so on. Equally, larger areas can be treated such as thigh, hip, stomach, upper arms and knees etc.
